We publish an information website without user accounts or payments, and we do not host comments.
01
What we collect
Normal web requests may produce server or CDN logs. These can include an IP address, browser or user-agent information, a time stamp, the page or resource requested and a referring page when supplied. Requests to a 'Visit store' redirect can appear in those logs.
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. We use technical records to operate the site, investigate faults and address security issues. We do not describe the mere presence of a technical log as a complete profile of a reader.
If you email us, the message contains whatever contact details and information you choose to include. Please send only information relevant to your request. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer it and deal with any related correction.
02
Cookies and analytics
There is no analytics service on this site. We do not use non-essential analytics cookies. If we introduce non-essential cookies later, we will give appropriate information and obtain consent before using them. This reflects UK rules under PECR and ICO guidance.
The site has no age-confirmation screen. The 18+ rule is stated as text in the footer and on our age policy page, so no cookie or local storage entry is set to record an age choice.
03
Stores we link to
Store links may send you through a redirect hosted on our domain before opening an external retailer. Once you reach that retailer, its own terms and privacy practices apply. The store may collect information connected with its checkout, payment processing and delivery. We do not operate those functions.
You can read our affiliate disclosure for the reason some outbound links may generate commission. The disclosure of a commercial relationship is separate from a retailer's duty to explain its own data processing.
04
Your rights under UK GDPR
UK GDPR provides rights relating to personal information, subject to the conditions and exemptions that apply. These include access, correction, erasure, restriction and objection in relevant circumstances. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Email contact@animedoll.co.uk to exercise a right or ask about recorded data. Describe your request and enough context for us to locate the information. We may need to check identity where appropriate before disclosing personal information. Not every request requires every right to be granted automatically.
05
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as website features or applicable rules change. Material changes will be reflected in a new check date, and any new optional data collection will be described before it begins.
For privacy questions, contact the editors. The terms of use explain the editorial website's wider conditions. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is strictly needed for your enquiry.
